Kendall Family Genealogy of New England

Old Burial Ground, Tewksbury, MA

Tewksbury was first settled in 1637 and was officially incorporated in 1734 from Billerica. Like Tewksbury Township, New Jersey, it is named after the town of Tewkesbury, England.

Tewksbury Cemetery

This cemetery is located directly across the street from the Old Burial ground.  Only one Kendall family stone was located in this cemetery.

Abby E died November 24, 1923

A.M. Kendall was born December 11, 1832 son of Simeon & Lydia Kendall

He died December 23, 1918

Kendall Cemetery~

In early 2008 we became aware of a private family cemetery in Tewksbury.  We are currently working with the Tewksbury Historical Society to gain access to this family site and document the family members buried there.

When we gain access we will post our findings here.
