Boylston was first settled around 1722 but did not achieve full township status until 1785.  It was originally part of  the towns of Shrewsbury and Lancaster.
The Kendall family that settled there were descendants from the family in Woburn, most specifically the line of Francis Kendall and Mary Tidd.
The photos on this page came to us via the Boylston Historical Society and the dedicated volunteer members there.  A special note of thanks to Betty Thomas for her time and effort in collecting all the Kendall family data for us.  We truely appreciate the effort!
